the location was comfortable, room was very clean and employees were very great. we truly enjoyed the amenities, such as a heating system, cable channels and a study table.
-
It was adjacent to everything and the view was BEAUTIFUL. Room furnishings are original. Moreover, free WiFi was great. Breakfast was included, that was a bonus.
-
View of sunsets was great! Újbuda district was worth visiting. There was buffet breakfast. Not to mention free Wi-Fi.

-
breakfast is just great and spa as well, nice people and perfect position of that hotel
very very very small room, older furniture
-
I like the big Breakfast very good, the free access to the Thermes, the Hotelstaff is gentle, the furniture is a little old fashioned, but it is a good place!
-
Location otherwise very old furnitures and not comfortable
-
The Art Deco architecture was stunning. We loved the location - overlooking the River Danube. we took advantage of the proximity of the hotel to the less tourist-centred area further away from the river on the Buda side.
The lack of air conditioning in the warm nights made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
-
free entry to spa area, actually the main selling point of the hotel
rooms/ furniture very dated, in serious need of renovation
-
The hotel was very central and it was very convenient to have the hotel spa facilities which we could access straight from our room.
We stayed in a superior double room and would have expected air conditioning for the price and this room discription. It was also described as spacious it was however a meduim sized hotel room. The food in the Panoramic restaurant was not as good as in the Brasserie.

The beautiful Grand Hotel which carries both its past exuberant spa life in its magnificent pre Art Nouveau architecture, imposing entrance, beautiful marble and exceptional thermal pools as well as its scars from its near past history. A unique place that survived. Our room with the direct view over the Danube was comfortable and clean. The direct access to the thermal pools from the Hotel was convenient and the Hotel allowed us to use them freely. The desk staff is very helpful, speaking fluent English. The frequent streetcars in front of the Hotel took us over the bridge or towards the castle in no time.
Little by little modern amenities are added, some air conditioning would be nice, as well as swimming caps and slippers for the spa facilities.
